<blockquote>A fairytale wedding, eating disorder, civil unrest, unemployment - so many factors and one show - The Crown.&nbsp;</blockquote>The Crown just came out with its 4th season a few weeks ago and the audience loves it. Starting from the tragic relationship between Charles, Diana, and Camilla, the rule of Thatcher as the first female prime minister, the failure of the queen as a mother – this season has it all! Let’s take a look at some of the life lessons we can adopt while binging on the new season of this amazing series.&nbsp; 1️⃣ 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬:Season 4 of The Crown focuses more on the relationship between Charles and Diana. From their very first meeting, it could be seen that Diana and Charles were not compatible with each other. In addition to this, they never seemed to communicate properly. In fact, Diana met Charles only a couple of times before they officially got married. Even after their wedding, they failed to communicate their issues with each other which ultimately led to their separation.Similarly, communication is very crucial in our workplace. Lack of communication in work may lead to misunderstandings which can cause problems to both individual employees and the organization. 2️⃣ 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩:Charles had a very terrible childhood. However, it cannot excuse his poor behavior. One of the main reasons behind the separation between Charles and Diana was his insecurity against his wife. Diana was young, beautiful, relatable, and friendly. This caused the public to fall in love with her which was greatly displayed in the Australian tour. This made Charles more angry and insecure regarding his position as a future King (“One day, dear boy, you shall be king” - And shall the longest internship begin!)In our workplace, many times our colleagues will go ahead in the race. However, we should never get insecure about their achievement. Rather, learn from them and move forward with your handwork and talent.&nbsp;&nbsp; 3️⃣ 𝐀 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐨 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐲:One of the best scenes from this season was when Diana hugged the child with AIDS. The moment Diana hugged the child just like that, without gloves, without any doubt or hesitation, changed everything for the sick people. By this simple yet so bold and important gesture, Diana ended the taboo and stigma among people against AIDS patients.This shows how much even a small gesture of help can change the life of a person for the better. So, the next time your colleague asks for your help in a presentation or your classmate asks for guidance in a competition, be there for them!&nbsp; 4️⃣ 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦:Diana was a young, innocent girl who married into a family she thought would make her happy. Instead, it was like a nightmare she couldn’t get away from. The royals neglected her, ignored her, and made her feel alone and unsupported. The biggest tragedy for Diana was the infidelity of her own husband. The pressure and the grief led Diana to depression and she suffered from bulimia. However, Diana or any other royal members never took any step to face this problem. Rather, everyone conveniently ignored it which ultimately worsened her condition. In life, we cannot go very far ignoring problems because they are inevitable. So, the sooner you start seeing problems as opportunities to grow, the sooner you will learn to solve problems better.&nbsp; Admit it, most of us are obsessed with the royal family. We believe they have it all. However, this season of The Crown beautifully sheds the perfect image of this family. It highlights how even the most powerful people in the world can share the same sorrows and difficulties as ordinary human beings. So, the biggest lesson from this season would be to not judge others before walking in their shoes. Rather, work on yourself to be a better spouse, parent, child, and leader!

She was the actual hero of the show. She made nerds like us feel good about ourselves. She was the brain behind every mission of the trio. Yes, I am talking about our very favorite Hermione Granger. Hermione taught us a lot. But, one of her greatest lessons was to be self-dependent by being a problem solver. Remember, when Umbridge tried to take over the entire school. It was Hermione who came out with the idea of Harry being the unofficial Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.To survive in this world, and more importantly to excel in our career, we need to be problem solvers like Hermione. But, do you know how she managed to be such a great problem solver? Well, we all know about her tremendous thirst for knowledge which helped her a lot but there was something else too. Let's hear it from herself.So, apart from being logical, let’s look at a few ways you can develop your problem-solving skills. Hopefully, you will end up as the next prime minister of your country very similar to how Hermione ended up as the Minister of Magic. 1️⃣ 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬:&nbsp;We all know Tony Stark aka Iron Man. Without his genius-level intellectual skills, he would have been just a normal engineer. But due to his skills, he turned himself into a Superhero. Want to be great at problem-solving? Then try to acquire these basic key skills. Based on my extensive research, there are five key skills required to be a better problem solver and hopefully, take the spot of your boss in the future. These are Emotional intelligence, Decision making, Teamwork, Researching Skills, and Creativity. I am not going to elaborate on each of these skills because you have the YPS sessions of Smartifier Academy for that. 2️⃣ 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭:&nbsp;Okay, I know what you are thinking, but hear me out. I have watched countless videos on career development and every single video endorsed the importance of being a problem solver. However, to be effective in this sector, as I already mentioned, we need certain skills. But, if you are anything like me, you probably have a mindset that the techniques used to develop these skills are extremely boring and end up binging on Netflix instead. However, every technique is not boring, and developing problem-solving skills can actually be fun. For example, logic and brain training games like monopoly and chess can enhance your problem-solving skills. You can also try reading detective books or play detective games as it can give you several problem-solving ideas. Did you know getting a good night’s sleep can also supercharge your problem-solving ability? Finally, we have a logical answer to our parents' question regarding our sleeping habits. 3️⃣ 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟔 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚:Like the famous 10 – step Korean skincare routine, problem-solving also has a 6 step formula. To solve a problem, firstly, you need to identify the problem and try to understand the nature of that problem. Secondly, the problem is structured in a way to develop a clear picture of it. The third stage is all about brainstorming to look for all the possible solutions. Then comes the most complex part which is to analyze the possible courses of action and select the best solution. Lastly, you need to implement the chosen solution and finally seek feedback. 4️⃣ 𝐁𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞:&nbsp;If Rapunzel was not curious about the floating lights, she would not reunite with her parents. Likewise, if you are curious regarding any topic, it can lead you to be a better problem solver. Keeping your mind open and exploring topics that you know little about can be an efficient step to develop your problem-solving skills. If any topic comes to your mind, then make it your mission to know more about it. 5️⃣ 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭:Lastly, I would like to end this blog with the age-old quote of our parents that “Practice makes perfect.” Learning new skills like problem-solving is very challenging. It will take time, effort, practice, and a lot of frustration. Only through a gradual process of trial and error, we can master this golden skill.For most of us, the least favorite character among the trio of Harry Potter was probably Ronald Weasley. But did you ever wonder what the reason was? I mean, Ron was an amazing friend (let us try to forget the two unfortunate incidents), a really caring brother, and also a pretty good wizard. But, we probably like him the least because he was not a problem solver and rather depended on Hermione for the idea of the plan and Harry for the execution. In many cases, he was just a tag-along. This very trait of Ron also made him feel insecure about himself among his brothers and best friends.Now that I have done my job of enlightening you with the right stuff, you have to make the big decision.
